PlaygroundCY

🌳 THE PLAYGROUND APP CYPRUS PARENTS HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR Finding a great playground in Cyprus shouldn't mean driving across town only to discover a sun-baked, shadeless lot at 11am in August. Playground Finder CY is the first app built specifically for families in Cyprus — helping you find playgrounds that are shaded, clean, safe, and perfectly suited to your child's age, wherever you are on the island. 🔍 FIND THE RIGHT PLAYGROUND IN SECONDS Search by your location, neighbourhood, or city and instantly see every playground nearby on a beautiful map. Each marker is colour-coded by shade level — because in a country where summer temperatures regularly exceed 38°C, shade isn't a nice-to-have. It's everything. Filter by what matters to you: • Shade level — none, partial, or full • Age range — toddlers (0–2), young children (2–5), older kids (5–10), or all ages • Equipment — swings, slides, climbing frames, sandboxes, water play areas • Amenities — toilets, parking, seating for parents, picnic tables, water fountains • Accessibility — wheelchair-accessible entrances and equipment • Surface type — rubber, grass, sand, or mixed ☀️ SUMMER MODE — BUILT FOR THE MEDITERRANEAN Every June to September, Summer Mode activates automatically. Shade filters are prioritised, heat warnings are shown for exposed playgrounds, and misting systems and water play areas are highlighted. Because nobody wants to spend a July afternoon at a playground with metal slides and no trees. ⭐ REAL REVIEWS FROM REAL CYPRUS PARENTS Every playground in the app is reviewed by the families who actually visit. Each review includes ratings for overall experience, shade comfort, cleanliness, and equipment condition — the four things parents actually care about. Reviews are tied to a visit date, so you always know how fresh the information is. Browse photos taken by other parents, read honest opinions in Greek, English, or Russian, and know exactly what to expect before you leave the house. 📍 THE MOST COMPLETE PLAYGROUND MAP IN CYPRUS Playground Finder CY covers the entire island — from Nicosia and Limassol to Paphos, Larnaca, and the smallest villages. Our database combines data from OpenStreetMap, municipal sources, and thousands of community contributions to give you the most comprehensive playground map ever built for Cyprus. Can't find your favourite local playground? Add it yourself in under two minutes. Pin the location, add the details, upload a photo, and help other families discover it. 🏅 CONTRIBUTE AND EARN REWARDS Every review you write, every playground you add, and every photo you upload earns you points and unlocks badges. Become a Shadow Hunter by rating shade at 10 playgrounds. Earn the Cleanliness Champion badge for flagging maintenance issues that get fixed. The more you contribute, the better the app gets for every family on the island. 💾 SAVE YOUR FAVOURITES Save playgrounds to your favourites list and access them offline — perfect for planning a day out without worrying about signal in rural areas. Create custom lists like "Paphos holiday trip" or "Near school" and share them with other parents via a simple link. 🔔 STAY INFORMED Get notified when a new playground opens near you, when a safety issue is reported at one of your saved spots, or when a playground you love gets a fresh batch of reviews.
