Playdabba Video Player & Vault

Playdabba keeps your private videos and photos in a vault locked with your PIN or your fingerprint, and plays every video on your phone. Nothing in the vault, and nothing you play, leaves your device. A VAULT ONLY YOU CAN OPEN Move a video or a photo into the vault and it leaves the gallery, leaves your backups, and is encrypted on the device with a key held in the phone's hardware keystore. Opening it takes your PIN or your fingerprint. There is no account, so there is nothing to reset: a forgotten PIN cannot be recovered, by you or by anyone else. PLAYS ALMOST ANYTHING MKV, AVI, MOV, FLV, TS and the audio most phones refuse: AC3, E-AC3, DTS and TrueHD. Hardware decoding wherever the device supports it, including HEVC. SUBTITLES THAT BEHAVE Picks up SRT, ASS, SSA, SUB, TTML and VTT files sitting next to the video, plus any embedded tracks. Nudge the timing while you watch. A PROPER PLAYER Resume where you left off. Playback speed from 0.25x to 4x. Swipe to seek and to change brightness and volume. Background audio with a control in your notification shade, and picture-in-picture so the video keeps playing while you use other apps. Cast to a TV. Open a video from any other app, or paste an http, https or rtsp link. A FOLDER VIEW THAT MATCHES YOUR PHONE Videos grouped by the folders they actually sit in, kept current as files are added, moved or deleted. Choose "selected videos only" if you would rather not grant access to all of them. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO No downloader, no search, no recommendations, no built-in browser, no account. It does not ask for all-files access, location permission, your camera, your microphone or your contacts. Contains ads. Privacy policy: https://playdabba.com/privacy
