Walked out of a shopping centre and forgotten which level you left the car on? Come back to a ticket because the meter ran out while you were in a meeting? Parking Reminder saves your spot in one tap and warns you before it costs you anything. SAVE YOUR SPOT IN ONE TAP Press the big button the moment you park. Your GPS position is saved there and then, with no account and no sign-up. Add a note ("P3 - bay B12") and a photo of the pillar or the level number: in an underground car park, where GPS does not reach, those two are what actually get you back. WALK BACK WITH AN ARROW AND A DISTANCE Open "Find my car" and a compass arrow points at the car, with the live distance in metres underneath. A map shows you and the car at the same time. One button hands the spot to your usual navigation app; another shares it with whoever is meeting you there. PARKING METER TIMER Start a countdown when you park - 15 minutes, 30 minutes, an hour, up to four. A notification reaches you before the paid time ends, in time to extend it or move the car, and the countdown stays visible on the home screen. Alerts arrive about five minutes before the end and when it ends; battery saving can delay them. STREET SWEEPING REMINDERS Read the sign on your street once, enter the day and the time, and the reminder comes back every week - 30 minutes, an hour or a day ahead, as you prefer. There is no city database behind it, because scheduled-cleaning data exists for a handful of cities and would be quietly wrong everywhere else. It is your street and your schedule. ONE SPOT PER VEHICLE The household car and the work van do not park in the same place. Keep a saved spot for each one and the two never get mixed up. IT CAN SAVE THE SPOT BY ITSELF If your phone pairs with the car over Bluetooth, the spot can be recorded on its own the moment that connection drops. You get a notification and there is nothing to press, even with the app closed. This needs the Bluetooth permission, and some phones restrict background apps, so it may not work on every phone. WHAT IS INCLUDED, AND WHAT PRO ADDS Included: saving a spot, the GPS position, the note and the photo, the meter timer and its alert, the compass, the map, and one street-sweeping reminder. The app shows ads. Parking Reminder Pro adds: your parking history, several vehicles, several sweeping reminders, saving over Bluetooth, and it removes the ads. Weekly, monthly, or a one-time unlock - and the ads can also be removed on their own. A 24-hour pass without ads can also be bought, and it does not unlock Pro features. The subscription starts with a 7-day trial, with ads still showing. STRAIGHT ABOUT WHAT IT DOES Saving and finding your spot work without a connection; the map needs one to download its tiles. The alerts are notifications, so leave them switched on for the app. Your spots, notes and photos stay on the phone and are not uploaded anywhere. Usage statistics linked to a random install ID may also be sent; you can turn them off in Settings.
