Full description
MOApp is an offline ballistic calculator for long-range rifle shooters. Enter your rifle, optic, load and zero once, state the conditions at the firing line, and read the elevation and windage holds off the screen. It works with no signal, no account and no tracking. WHAT IT SOLVES A point-mass trajectory integrated on your device, with the corrections that matter past a few hundred metres: • Elevation and windage holds, in your optic's own turret unit • Spin drift, derived from twist rate and time of flight • Aerodynamic jump • Coriolis, both components, switched on per setup • Target lead for a moving target, shown beside the windage hold so a bad speed estimate cannot hide inside a good wind call • Look angle for uphill and downhill shots YOUR RIFLE, YOUR NUMBERS A setup bundles one rifle, optic, load and zero — the thing you pick before ranging a target. • Turret units: MOA, Milliradian and 6000-Mil, kept distinct because reading one as the other puts a solution 4.7% out • G1 and G7 drag standards • Multi-band ballistic coefficients, entered as the band thresholds the maker publishes • Sight height, twist rate and twist direction • Powder temperature sensitivity, so a cold magazine is accounted for • A bundled bullet library to start from, and every published figure is yours to override CONDITIONS AT THE FIRING LINE • Station pressure — the absolute pressure where you stand, not the sea-level figure a weather app quotes. On a supported device it can be read from the barometer, and you can always type over it • Air temperature, relative humidity and ammunition temperature • Wind call as speed and a clock bearing, applied over the whole flight • Target speed and heading • Azimuth of fire, shown only when Coriolis is on RANGE CARD A table of holds across the span and increment you ask for. Rows the model cannot stand behind are marked rather than hidden: ~ where a single-coefficient point-mass model starts to degrade, a red triangle below Mach 0.9 where it is out of its range entirely. The glyph carries the warning on its own, so it survives direct sun and colour blindness. TRUING Dial in your muzzle velocity or ballistic coefficient against drop you have actually observed. Every session is stored as the observation you made — the distance, the hold you saw, the conditions — not just the answer it produced, so you can see how each value holds across the span and recompute it whenever you like. Your entered figure is never overwritten; you name which one the solver uses. NO NETWORK, NO ACCOUNTS, NO TRACKING The app declares no Android permissions at all. It makes no network calls, has no sign-up, no telemetry and no sync, and it opts out of Android backup so your setups are not copied off the device. Everything you enter stays in one place: your phone. Metric and imperial throughout, switched whenever you like. English and Ukrainian. MOApp is a calculator for sporting and hunting use. Its numbers are a prediction, not a promise — confirm them on a known distance before you trust them in the field.
