Grim: 2D Multiplayer Shooter

Grim is a fast 2D multiplayer shooting game. Four players, one arena, three-minute matches, and one hit is all it takes. No aiming. Movement is the skill. There is no aiming stick. Your shots fly straight ahead in the direction you face, so every fight is won with your feet. Run, jump, glide, crouch and slide across the platforms, get level with a rival and fire first. Scramble for weapons Pistols, Shotguns and Grenades appear on the arena floor. Walk over one to pick it up, then fight everyone else for the next one. Throw your weapon at a rival to knock theirs out of their hands. One hit, quick comeback No health bars. One clean hit is a knockout, and you are back in the fight two seconds later. Three-minute matches In Casual and Deathmatch, the first player to 8 knockouts wins. If nobody gets there, the top score wins when time runs out. A tie goes to 15 seconds of sudden death. Team up 2v2 Queue for 2v2 on your own or invite a friend onto your team, and take on the other pair together. Play with friends Add friends and open a private room for free-for-all or 2v2. Learn it, then climb Learn the controls in Practice, then play Casual matches. After ten Casual matches, Deathmatch unlocks: win to earn trophies and climb the leagues. Level up NOVA Earn Coins and Power Points in Casual and 2v2 matches and build NOVA's Hero Mastery. It unlocks Dash, a quick burst that makes you untouchable for a split second, and later upgrades shorten its cooldown. Something every day Claim Daily Rewards, complete daily objectives, and finish three public matches a day to open the Daily Chest. Fair by design Grim is free to play. Every player gets the same weapons, the same movement and the same one-hit rule. In matches, Hero Mastery only unlocks Dash and shortens its cooldown. Early Access Grim is in Early Access with one hero, NOVA, one arena and three weapons. More heroes are coming soon. Online matchmaking can fill empty slots so a match starts quickly, and an internet connection is required for online play. Grab a gun, find your angle and jump into your first arena fight.
