StatusPing — Status Saver

WhatsApp status saver for photos and videos. StatusPing saves WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business statuses before the 24 hours run out, shows how long each one has left, and keeps the ones you choose in a library that does not expire. If you turn it on, it also keeps a list of your WhatsApp messages on your phone, so a message that is later deleted stays readable. HOW IT WORKS You grant read access to one folder — the one WhatsApp already wrote those photos and videos to. Nothing is downloaded; the files are on your phone. StatusPing copies the ones you keep into your own gallery folder, where your gallery app and backup tool can see them. It cannot change or delete anything in the folder you granted. DELETED MESSAGES — READ THIS PART Turn on notification access and StatusPing keeps a list of your WhatsApp messages on your phone. If a message is deleted in WhatsApp, it stays in the list. We mark the ones we can tell were deleted. Three limits, stated plainly — they are the platform's, not ours: • It works only forward, from when you turn it on. Nothing from before can be recovered. • It shows sender and text, and received photos, videos and voice notes when StatusPing can still reach them; no reactions, no edits. • If your phone silenced or suppressed the notification, there was nothing to capture. You choose which apps it watches and how long the archive is kept — 30 days by default. You can delete it all in one tap, and export it first. BACKGROUND WATCHING, HONESTLY It checks continuously while StatusPing is running. How soon a new status shows up depends on what your phone allows in the background, which no app controls. When your phone stops the watcher to save battery — and phones do — Setup says so instead of pretending. PRIVACY Nothing StatusPing captures ever leaves your phone. No account, no sign-in, no server, no cloud sync, and Android's automatic backup is off for this app's data. Saved statuses are ordinary files in your own folder; the deleted-message archive is a local database you can purge. Three kinds of network request: the ad banner, Firebase crash reports and anonymous usage counts. None carries your photos, videos, messages or phone number. No storage-wide permission — no All files access, no photo library permission — only the folder you pick. ADS One banner at the top: no video ads, no full-screen ads, no ads on launch, nothing to watch to unlock. Every feature works without paying — no locked feature, no save limit, no subscription. Settings has one purchase that removes the banner forever, and Restore purchase if you change phones. PERMISSIONS • Folder access (you pick it): to list statuses and copy the ones you keep. • Notification access (optional, off by default): only for deleted-message recovery, for the apps you select. • Notifications: for new statuses and watcher health. • A foreground service: so watching keeps working in the background, with a notification showing the whole time, as Android requires.
