Full description
Pill Counter is an assistive counting tool for pharmacy staff: take one photo and an on-device AI model counts the tablets. Available in English and Korean. HOW TO USE 1) Spread the tablets in a single layer, with as little overlap as possible. 2) Follow the on-screen level ring, then take one photo. The shutter freezes on that exact frame. 3) Check the count on the result screen; tap "Edit" to tap-to-add or long-press-to-remove a tablet, and pinch or double-tap to zoom in. Confirm to save. CAPTURE HELPERS - Level ring: shows whether the camera is level. - Torch: a button turns on the torch in low light. - Target count: enter a target and see how far the count is from it. THREE-TIER RESULT - No warnings: none raised; still check by eye. - Needs review: overlap or lighting means a manual check is recommended. - Retake: the photo is blurry, dark, or has glare, so a new photo is recommended. Fragment candidates (partial tablets) are shown separately from the main count. WHAT IT SUPPORTS TODAY (v1) - Recognition: one tablet type at a time, in a single layer on a counting tray. - Less reliable with mixed tablet types or multiple overlapping layers. - Dispensing envelopes are not yet supported. THIS BUILD IS A FIELD-TEST MODEL The detection model bundled in this version is a field-test model and has not yet passed our production accuracy bar. Do not trust the displayed count as-is. Always verify it visually. PHOTOS AND RECORDS NEVER LEAVE YOUR DEVICE Captured photos are processed only on your device to produce the count. The app does not save the photo to your gallery, upload it to a server, or share it with anyone. Counting and viewing saved history work without an internet connection. There is no separate app account or sign-in, and the app contains no analytics or advertising modules. Buying Pro and restoring a purchase need a connection to Google Play and a Google account; Google Play handles the payment, and the app never receives card details. The camera's temporary capture file sits briefly in app-private storage, which no other app can access, and is deleted as soon as the count is produced. HISTORY STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE (LAST 500 RECORDS) A confirmed count (photo, count, target, and note) is saved only to app-private storage and appears in the history list. Up to 500 records are kept; older ones are removed automatically. Delete one record, clear all, or uninstall the app to remove everything. PRO: FULL HISTORY (ONE-TIME PURCHASE) Counting stays free with no limit. Without Pro, your 20 most recent saved records are viewable; older records are not deleted, they stay on your device and unlock with Pro. Pro is a single in-app purchase, not a subscription. On a new device with the same account, Restore Purchase unlocks Pro only; records and photos are not moved. To keep Pro, the app stores only the product id, purchase time, last check time and purchase environment on this device. LIMITATIONS AND DISCLAIMER (PLEASE READ) Pill Counter is a counting aid for dispensing workflows. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment information. The AI model's detection can be affected by capture conditions such as lighting, overlapping tablets, or tablet shape. The displayed count is for reference only: final quantity verification and dispensing responsibility must always rest with a qualified pharmacist or authorized staff. Do not finalize a dispensing decision based solely on this app's result. PERMISSIONS The only permission that asks for your consent is Camera, used to take the tablet photo and to drive the torch. An internal signature-level self-permission and the Google Play billing permission are also declared; neither shows a prompt. No other user-facing permission is requested. CONTACT This app is an independent tool provided by Yesun Mind Institute. It is not connected to any medical institution's patient records or clinical services. Feedback: [email protected]

What's new

This update makes each count easier to check. A result with no warnings is now labelled "No warnings", and the result screen itself says the model is a field-test model. Before the first photo, a short card explains spreading tablets in one layer and that photos stay on your device. After saving, the message shows the count with a View button. In Edit, a tap on a counted tablet still adds one, now marked, with Undo. History warns before the 500-record limit. Counting stays free.
