Calculator (Offline)

Calculator combines basic and scientific calculation with eight offline converters and tools. It has no account or sign-in and requests no permissions, including Internet access. Calculating • Basic and Scientific keypads, chosen with a selector; the choice is remembered • Percent, parentheses, square, square root, factorial, pi, and e • Sine, cosine, tangent, natural logarithm, and common logarithm, with an INV key that switches to the inverse trigonometric functions, e to a power, and 10 to a power • A degrees or radians setting for trigonometry • A More functions dialog for absolute value, reciprocal, and sign change • A result preview while typing; a long press on Delete clears the whole expression Exact results, memory, and history • Expression results computed with exact rational and constructive real arithmetic instead of fixed-precision floating point • An option to show a result as a fraction, offered when one applies, and another to show more leading digits, marked exact or approximate • Memory with MS, M+, M−, and MR, kept between launches • A history of calculations stored on the device, opened from the menu or by dragging down from the display; tapping an entry restores it • Long-press menus to copy a result and to paste into an expression • Clearing the history also clears the memory value Converters and tools • Unit converter for length, area, volume, speed, time, mass, and temperature, with a swap button • Offline conversion between any two of these 22 currencies, using source and target selectors: USD, EUR, JPY, GBP, CHF, AUD, CAD, SGD, INR, KRW, SEK, MXN, NZD, NOK, TWD, BRL, ZAR, PLN, DKK, IDR, THB and ILS • Loan or mortgage estimates: monthly payment, total payment, and total interest • Age calculator and date difference, each in years, months, and days • India GST added to or extracted from an amount, at preset rates from 0 to 40 percent or a custom rate • Discount savings and final price • BMI from metric weight and height, with its category Note: currency rates are bundled six-month USD-base historical averages from European Central Bank reference data; TWD uses Federal Reserve H.10 series DEXTAUS through FRED. They are not live and the app never downloads them. Appearance, layouts, and languages • System default, Light, and Dark themes • Layouts for phones and tablets in portrait and landscape • Error messages, history, and result options are translated into 73 languages besides English; newer features, including Converters and tools, Help, Send feedback, Theme, and the Basic and Scientific selector, are English only, as are the help, privacy policy, and license pages Help, feedback, and privacy Help, the privacy policy, and the open source license list are included in the app and readable without a network connection. Send feedback opens an email draft to [email protected] with the app version, Android version, and device model, and no calculations or history; nothing is sent until the draft is sent from the chosen app. The app contains no advertising, analytics, telemetry, or crash reporting. History, memory, the theme, and currency selections stay in the app's private storage, and Android backup and device-to-device transfer are disabled. Permissions and their purpose Calculator requests no permissions, so nothing has to be granted. This app does not request internet, network state, contacts, location, camera, microphone, phone, SMS, notifications, accounts, or any storage or media permission.
