PigmyPe digitizes doorstep pigmy and daily/recurring deposit collection for co-operative banks and societies — replacing the paper collection book with a fast, accountable app for collection agents, admins, and members. IMPORTANT: PigmyPe does not handle money PigmyPe does not collect, hold, transfer, invest, lend, pool or escrow any money, deposits or funds, at any point. Every rupee collected under a pigmy, recurring-deposit or daily-deposit scheme is collected in cash and held solely by the co-operative society, co-operative bank, or other institution that operates the scheme, under that institution's own regulatory permissions. PigmyPe's role is limited to recording those collections and helping the institution reconcile and audit its own records. PigmyPe is a record-keeping platform, not a bank, and never touches the money. KEY FEATURES • Doorstep collection — agents log deposits on their phone at the member's door, even offline; entries sync automatically once back in range. • Digital passbook — members view deposits, balances, and receipts in-app, with no lost paper passbooks or month-end disputes. • End-of-day reconciliation — agents close out the day against digital totals; admins approve settlements with OTP verification. • Commission tracking — agent commission is calculated from actual collections and settled monthly. • Routes & coverage — members are assigned to agents by route, with stand-in coverage for leave. • Tamper-evident audit log — collections, logins, and EOD approvals are hash-chained and cannot be edited after the fact. HOW IT WORKS 1. Your society sets up schemes, agents, and members. 2. Agents collect deposits in cash in the field; each deposit sends an SMS receipt. 3. The day is reconciled — cash handover and settlement are OTP-approved. 4. Members track balances and receipts, and can raise disputes, right in the app. SECURITY Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, backed by a hash-chained audit trail and OTP-verified settlements — so every collection is accounted for.
