CoverDeck turns the small cover screen of your flip phone into a real home screen. It only reads which app is shown on the cover screen, to build the Recent list. It also uses this to keep the screen on for the apps you choose (Keep awake), and opens your phone’s own Recents screen on the cover screen when you tap Recent. It also turns the cover screen off when you double-tap an empty spot on Home or tap the Lock tile, and briefly lights up the cover screen’s edges when a new message arrives. Notification access is optional. It is used on your phone to show your messages and missed calls on the cover screen (and reply or call back from there), for media controls and for Do not disturb; notifications are never stored or sent anywhere.
