Waypoints

The real world is your playground. GPS Explorer turns everyday walks into a treasure hunt. Set your Home Base, head out the door, and the further you roam the more you earn. Loot chests are hidden across the real map around you — walk up to one, open it, and bank the gold and XP inside. ── SET A HOME BASE ── Pin your home on the map when you start. It's your anchor point: XP from every chest scales with how far you've travelled from home, so real exploration is always rewarded. You can relocate your Home Base later (a 30-day cooldown keeps it fair). ── HUNT LOOT CHESTS ── Chests appear on the map near you in three rarities: • Common — a small gold haul • Rare — a bigger payout and bonus XP • Epic — the jackpot, with a huge XP multiplier Get within 25 metres of a chest to open it. That's it — no ads to watch, no timers to wait out. ── SOLO OR ONLINE ── • Solo mode: a private set of chests just for you, topped up as you explore. • Online mode: shared chests that every nearby player can see. First explorer to reach one claims it — so move fast. ── LEVEL UP ── Earn XP to climb from Level 1 to 10 and unlock explorer titles along the way, from "Wanderer" all the way to "Legendary Explorer." Track your gold, chests opened, distance roamed and more on your profile. ── DAILY STREAKS ── Check in at your Home Base each day to build a streak. The longer your streak, the bigger the daily gold bonus. ── FRIENDS & LEADERBOARD ── Add friends by Player ID and see them on your map as you explore together. Compete on the global leaderboard, ranked by total gold earned. ── PRIVACY BY DESIGN ── Your exact location never leaves your device. Before anything is shared, your position is snapped to a coarse (~550m) grid, so other players only ever see a fuzzy region — never a precise point. A Home Cloak hides you completely whenever you're within 100m of your Home Base. Choose how you appear at any time: • Public — a fuzzy region visible to nearby explorers • Friends Only — only your friends can see your approximate area • Incognito — completely hidden, solo play only ── EXPLORER PLUS (coming soon) ── An optional upgrade that adds Pocket Mode (chest alerts read aloud while your screen is off), a glow on your Epic finds, Vacation Mode to keep your streak while you travel, and a guaranteed bonus chest near home each day. ── LOCATION USE ── GPS Explorer uses your device location only while the app is open, to place you on the map and detect nearby chests. It does not track your location in the background. Sign in with Google, set your Home Base, and start exploring.
