Place a letter in one word and you may reveal a clue for another. A guess that looks wrong in one place can turn out to be exactly what you need somewhere else. It’s a word game about deduction, not just vocabulary. HOW TO PLAY Each puzzle hides four 4-letter words connected across a 4×4 grid. Choose a lane, make a guess, and use the colours to work out what's right, what's wrong, and where your letters belong. 🟢 Green — right letter, right place. Locked in. 🟠 Orange — the letter is in this word, but in the wrong place. 🟣 Purple — the letter belongs to a different lane. ⚫ Dark — the letter isn't anywhere in the puzzle. Purple is the twist. A letter that doesn't belong to the word you're solving may belong to another word crossing it. So a “wrong” guess can still give you valuable information. Every guess can change what you know about the rest of the grid. You have 13 Sparks shared across all four words. Spend them wisely. STUCK? USE A CHARM When you need a little help, four optional Charms are available. You decide when—and whether—to use them. Ward — clears four tiles that no word passes through. Wick — gives you an extra Spark. Scry — shows four possible words for your lane. One is the answer. Gild — turns one hidden letter of your lane green. You get four of each Charm every day. Use them when you're stuck, save them for later, or solve without them. The choice is always yours. 16 PUZZLES EVERY DAY There are 16 fresh puzzles every day, each designed to be solved in just a few minutes. Your first day is unlimited. After that, Wisdom Potions refill your puzzles at midnight and again throughout the day, so there's always another puzzle waiting. Come back every day, solve the grid, and keep your streak alive. CLIMB THE RANKS Start unranked and work your way through four ranks: Obsidian → Amber → Amethyst → Emerald Each rank takes four Gem Shards to complete. Win to climb. Lose, and you can give ground back. Your rank reflects how consistently you solve—not just how many puzzles you've played. BUILD COMBOS & STREAKS The right word can sometimes solve multiple lanes at once. Solve two lanes with one word → 2× combo Solve three lanes with one word → 3× combo Win four puzzles in a row → streak Your profile tracks your best runs, weekly solves, streaks, and combo milestones. EARN GOLD Every word you solve earns Gold, with bonus Gold for your best combo in a winning round. Higher ranks earn more, up to 3× the Gold at Emerald.
