Mad Lab Defense: Tower Defense

Mad Lab Defense is a tower defense game you can play offline: build wild science gadgets, combine their effects and defend your lab. The Ministry of Normal has banned all fun science. Its gray army of clerks, inspectors and filing-cabinet tanks is marching on Dr. Max Sprocket's backyard lab. Luckily, Max has gadgets. Lots of gadgets. BUILD RIDICULOUS GADGETS • Slime Lobber, Zap-Ray 3000, Reverse Microwave, Punch-o-Matic, Stink-o-Matic, Snooze Projector, Robo-Buddy Factory, Shrink Ray and Hypno-Disco • New lab gear: Bunsen Blaster, Peel-o-Matic, Drone Dock, Itch-Dart Gatling, Gust-o-Matic 3000, Sinkhole Digger and Laser Spotter • Anti-air gear: Flak Cannon, Skyhook Winch and Resonance Bell • Every gadget changes as you upgrade it and ends in one of two wild specializations, like the Mostly-Harmless Death Ray or the Sock Tornado • Fit mod chips (Power, Reach or Combo), choose what each gadget aims at, and from World 2 turn one gadget of each type per level into a Masterpiece • Special build spots: gadgets on a Lookout reach further, on a Power Socket they work faster • Turn bureaucrats into sheep, send robot puppies across the map, call down toast from orbit and yank robots with a giant magnet, then pick the 8 gadgets that fit each level MIX LAB REACTIONS • Slime + Zap = SHORT CIRCUIT • Frozen + Punch = SHATTER • Stink + Spark = KA-FOOM! • Sleeping + Punch = RUDE AWAKENING, and more • Combos fill the Chaos Flask: unleash a Mega Experiment like the Slime Tsunami, Absolute Zero or the Mega Disco OUTSMART THE GRAYFORCE • Armored inspectors, shielded compliance officers, healing HR mediators, flying stamp drones and filing cabinets that burst into angry memos • Janitors mop up your slime and lawyers shout OBJECTION! to wipe your effects, so plan your combos • A fourth world, the Drizzle Peak Weather Bureau, where rain, snow and thunderstorms change the fight • A fifth world, the Ministry of Air Affairs: a flying platform where Jet Couriers and Glider Clerks take the air route and Radio Marshals speed them up • Five bosses, including the dreadfully dull Baron von Boring, Duchess Drizzle's weather blimp and Commissioner Helix's flying desk A HERO WITH A JETPACK • Move Dr. Max Sprocket around the map, level him up and use Jetpack Stomp and Overclock • Max, the Baron and the bosses talk, with subtitles in English and Norwegian LOTS TO DO • 25 hand-painted, living levels across five worlds • Lab Challenges: a new Daily Experiment every day, Boss Week, Lab Contracts and a weekly Endless map, plus Heroic and Iron challenges • Daily, weekly Endless and Boss Week leaderboards with fair, server-checked scores and funny generated lab names • Ask Ohm, the lab's AI sidekick (13+), for tips while the game is paused. Optional, and you can delete your chats any time • A free Daily Crate, pets like Beaker the lab rat, Research Lab upgrades, a trophy cabinet, achievements and comic cutscenes • Optional lab reminders, at most once a day and never at night or about offers • Casual, Normal and Veteran difficulty for every level FAIR PLAY AND OFFLINE • Play the whole campaign offline. Every level and gadget unlocks by playing • Earn Lab Credits by winning and from the Daily Crate, and spend them on supplies, continues, research and styles • Optional purchases: cosmetic styles and sets, Lab Supporter (bonus rewards and the Brass Gear ring) and Double Budget (twice the coins in the campaign) • Paid help is always off in the Fair Play modes: Daily Experiment, Boss Week, Lab Contracts and Endless boards • Players under 18 have a monthly spending limit, and a parent can hide all purchases and ads in Settings • No subscription, energy timer or forced paywall.
