Most step counters stop counting the moment your screen locks, or quietly miss steps until you open the app and watch them jump. This one is built differently. Because the counting happens in your phone's sensor hardware rather than by guessing from raw motion, you do not have to tune it to make it work, and waving your phone around does not add steps. NOTIFICATIONS YOU CONTROL Every notification lives in its own Android channel, so you can silence the ongoing step count, the water reminders and the activity reminders separately - or switch any of them off entirely - from your phone's own settings. The ongoing step notification is silent by default.
