Rounds is the field app for teams who work away from a desk — sales reps, merchandisers, service engineers and delivery staff. It is issued by your employer. You cannot sign up inside the app. Your organisation creates your account and gives you the short name you sign in with. WHAT YOU CAN DO Start and end your shift Clock in when your day starts, take breaks, and clock out when it ends. Your hours are recorded for you, so there is no timesheet to fill in later. Visit outlets Check in at a shop, record what happened, add photos and video, fill in the forms head office has set, and check out. Unplanned visits are recorded the same way. Add new outlets Register a shop you have found — its name, owner, address, position on the map and a photo of the front. Work through tasks See what has been assigned to you, add comments and attachments, tick off checklists and mark work done. Keep your own private reminders alongside. Fill in forms and surveys Answer the questions head office has set: text, numbers, choices, photos, video, signatures, barcodes, QR codes and GPS positions. See your own day Your shifts, hours, visits and distance travelled, with the route you took drawn on a map. Works without signal Everything is saved on your phone first and sent up when you have a connection, so a weak signal never stops you working. LOCATION Rounds records your location — including when the app is closed or not in use — for as long as your shift is running. It is used to confirm where you clocked in and out, to check that visits happened at the outlet, and to record the distance you travelled for the day. Recording starts when you clock in, pauses while you are on a break, and stops the moment you clock out. It never runs outside a shift. A notification stays on your screen the whole time it is running, so you always know when it is on. Your location history is visible to your organisation only. It is never sold and never used for advertising. WHAT YOU NEED An account created by your employer, and the short name of your organisation.
