Paybycal HR is the attendance app for your workplace. Employees check in and out from their phone, and every check-in is verified against the office Wi-Fi — so attendance records reflect people who were actually there. Three rules are available, strongest first: the access point's hardware address, the Wi-Fi network name, or your office IP range. You register them once and they apply to everyone. OFFICE, REMOTE AND HYBRID Not everyone works in one place. Each employee is set as office-based, remote or hybrid. Office staff must be on the workplace network. Remote staff can mark attendance from anywhere, recorded honestly as remote rather than pretending to be verified. Hybrid staff do nothing differently — each day is labelled automatically depending on where they are. WORKS WHEN THE NETWORK DOES NOT Attendance is saved on the phone first and synced afterwards. A dropped connection in a lift or a basement never loses a check-in; it syncs when the connection returns. ABOUT LOCATION PERMISSION Android only reveals the name of the connected Wi-Fi network to apps holding location permission, so the app has to ask for it. Paybycal HR does not read your GPS coordinates, does not track your movements, and does not access location in the background. The permission is used solely to identify the Wi-Fi network you are connected to. PRIVACY No advertising. No analytics. No trackers. Attendance goes to your employer's own spreadsheet and nowhere else. Attendance marked remotely records no details of the network you used. Paybycal HR is provided to employees by their employer and requires an account issued by your HR team.
