Lead your villagers along the road home. At every gate you choose between two banners: a plus, a times, a minus. But watch out: the gate you leave behind, the enemy takes. Leave a good one and the raiders get reinforcements. Leave a bad one and they run away. CAPTURE BANNERS A standard bearer runs off with whatever you left behind. Beat him and the banner is yours after all. Bosses carry banners too: shoot them loose before you chase the boss away. NOBODY FALLS Villagers who get hit run off and come back when the coast is clear. Take down the chief of a horde and the whole horde flees. BUILD YOUR OWN FARM Use the stars from the levels to build a farm across eight areas, from the Yard to the Vineyard. Plant wheat, corn, strawberries and cocoa. Feed your chickens, cows, sheep, ducks and alpacas. Bake bread and pies, make cheese, jam, sweaters and chocolate in ten workshops. Everything keeps growing, even when the game is closed. ORDERS AND THE MARKET CART The villagers order what you make. Every order earns coins for your army. Every few hours the market cart arrives with big crates to fill, for stars and gems. PROVISIONS FOR THE ROAD Bring something from your barn on the road: bread for a bigger crowd, cheese for more damage, honey cake for extra coins. PETS THAT HELP OUT Ten pets to collect: a dog that chomps, a penguin that freezes, a dragonling that breathes fire. They fetch stolen banners in the levels and help on the farm too: the dog herds the livestock, the owl watches over the fields.
