Full description

PastPresent is a rephotography app that lets you overlay historic photographs on your camera viewfinder, align them with the present-day scene, and capture a matching shot — all from your phone. How it works Create a project and add an overlay image (a historic or reference photo) Open the camera — your overlay appears over the live viewfinder Use pinch-to-zoom, rotate, and pan to align the overlay with the real scene Adjust opacity to blend between past and present Capture your shot — the saved photo matches exactly what you see on screen Compare your photos side-by-side with the swipe slider Features • Overlay any image on the live camera viewfinder • Pinch-to-zoom, pan, rotate, and flip the overlay for precise alignment • Switch focus between camera zoom and overlay positioning • Adjustable overlay opacity (0–100%) • Rule-of-thirds and fine grid overlays for composition • Photos saved match the viewfinder framing — what you see is what you get • Organize work into projects with cover images • Side-by-side comparison with interactive swipe slider • Video recording for documenting your rephotography process • EXIF location data embedded in captured photos • Works in portrait and landscape orientation Free tier • Up to 3 projects • Full camera and overlay features • Ad-supported PastPresent Pro (one-time purchase) • Unlimited projects • Video recording • No ads Perfect for historians, photographers, urban explorers, architecture enthusiasts, and anyone curious about how places have changed over time.
