Store listing

Full description
CityBoost shows every bike-share station in New York City where the e-bikes are free to ride right now, and every station where you can grab one for the usual fee. Members can ride an e-bike at no extra cost in low-assist mode whenever a station has no classic bikes left. Spotting those stations usually means comparing classic and e-bike counts station by station. CityBoost does it for you and puts them on one map, next to every other station with an e-bike waiting. HOW IT WORKS • Green badges are stations where the e-bikes are free, with how many are there. • Grey outlined markers are stations with e-bikes that cost the usual fee. Zoom in and the nearest ones show how many are there. • Tap any station to see its e-bike and classic bike counts and get walking directions. • The card at the bottom tells you how many free stations there are and how far the closest one is. • If a free e-bike is a long walk away, Bike Nearby routes you on a classic bike to a station near it, so you can dock and walk the last stretch. • When you get there, pick low-assist after scanning the bike for the free ride, or full assist if you'd rather pay for the boost. FREE OR NOT, FIND AN E-BIKE Prefer an e-bike every time? The map shows every station that has one, so you can head straight for the closest, whether it's free or not. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account, no sign-up, no ads. • Your location is used on your phone to sort stations by distance and never leaves it. GOOD TO KNOW • Free low-assist rides are for members. Full assist costs the standard per-minute e-bike fee, and non-members pay per-minute pricing. • Station data comes from the public Citi Bike system feed and refreshes about every minute, so a bike can be taken before you arrive. • Pricing rules are set by the bike-share operator and can change. Check the official app before you ride. CityBoost is made by Parlex Labs. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Citi Bike, Lyft, or Citigroup.
