Full description

Spotlight Search brings iOS-style search to Android: one fast, glassy search bar for everything on your phone. Type a few letters and get: • Apps – open any app instantly. Initials work too (gm → Google Maps), and accents don't matter • Contacts – call, text or start a WhatsApp chat right from the results • Device settings – jump straight to Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, battery, display and more • Calculator – answers appear as you type • Translations – translate text on your device • Web suggestions from Google – optional, turn them off any time in Settings • Quick search in Google, YouTube, YouTube Music, Maps, Play Store, Threads, LinkedIn, X and Facebook Smart results: • The best match comes first, and the apps you use most rise to the top • Matching letters are highlighted • Filter results by type, or tap Show all for the full list Make it yours: • Glass design with your own colours and blur • Hide apps you never want to see in results • Available in 12 languages Privacy first: Spotlight Search collects no personal data. Apps, contacts, settings, calculations and translations are processed on your device. The only thing that leaves your phone is what you type, sent to Google for suggestions, and only while web suggestions are on. The first time you translate a language, its language pack downloads from Google. Download Spotlight Search and find anything on your phone in a second.

What's new

Spotlight Search 2.2.1 • Work profile: search work apps, and work contacts when your company allows it • Icon packs, or a different icon for any app • Results settings: reorder, hide or resize any section • Choose your web search engine • Appearance: glass strength, text size, apps as a list or a grid • Translation starts only when you ask; language models download only over Wi-Fi • Drag the search down to close it
