Foldwise

Foldwise teaches eighteen traditional origami models the way a patient teacher would: one crease at a time, with a diagram for every single step. Nothing here is a photograph or a scanned page. Every diagram is drawn by the app as real geometry — each step is an actual polygon, folded by reflecting part of the sheet across the fold line. Tap animate and you watch the flap swing over and land exactly where the next picture says it should. Slow it down, speed it up, loop it until it makes sense. Start with a paper cup, a boat or a party hat, then work up through the jumping frog, the masu box and the tulip to the crane, the lily star and the gliding swan. Each model tells you what it is, which base it starts from, how many folds it takes and what difficulty it sits at. Star the ones you love, tick off the ones you have learned, and the progress page keeps count by difficulty. A reference page explains every mark diagrams use anywhere in the world: valley and mountain folds, fold-and-unfold, turn over, rotate, existing creases and direction arrows — so once you learn them here, any origami book becomes readable.
