PapeLume is a document scanner that fits in your phone. Photograph a bill, a contract or a receipt and get back a straight, clean PDF, ready to send. No flatbed scanner, no computer, no getting up. YOUR DOCUMENTS STAY ON YOUR PHONE No account to create. No cloud. No servers of ours. The pages you scan live in the app's private storage, and only leave when you choose to share them. HOW TO SCAN A DOCUMENT • Point the camera at the document and shoot, or pick an image from your gallery • PapeLume finds the edges of the paper on its own, right in the preview • Drag the corners with your finger if it needs a nudge • Perspective is corrected: a document shot from an angle comes out square • Save the PDF to your phone or share it on the spot SEVERAL PAGES IN ONE PDF Add as many pages as you like to the same document. Add, remove and reorder them before you create the final file. Multi-page contracts and bills end up as a single PDF, at no extra cost. FOUR IMAGE TREATMENTS • Auto — evens out the lighting, turns the paper white and restores sharpness. It is what every page starts with • Original — the photo exactly as it came out of the crop • Grey — cuts colour noise • Text — the photocopy look, best for reading You can apply the same treatment to every page at once, and change your mind whenever you like: the original image is never destroyed. AN ORGANISED LIBRARY Scanned documents are kept inside the app, with a name and a date. Rename, open, share or delete them whenever you want. FREE VERSION AND FULL VERSION The free version has everything you need to scan: multiple pages, every image treatment, and no limit on documents. It shows one ad on the library screen and leaves a small watermark in the corner of your PDFs. A single purchase — no subscription, no monthly fee — gets you: • No ads, today and in six months' time • No watermark on your PDFs • COMPRESS PDF — a 1.5 MB document becomes 312 kB, with the text still easy to read. That is the difference between fitting in an email and not • ADD PDF — bring in PDFs you already have and treat the pages as if you had scanned them: filter, rotate, reorder and compress You pay once and it is yours. PERMISSIONS AND ADVERTISING The app asks for camera access to photograph documents. Nothing else. To pick images you already have, it uses the Android photo picker, which hands over only the picture you select. The free version shows Google AdMob ads. For that, Google collects the advertising ID and device data — never the content of your documents. In Europe the app asks first, and you can change your mind at any time through the privacy icon in the library.
