Offline Music Player: NoBars

Your music. Your device. Nobody else’s business. NoBars plays the audio and video files you already own. No account, no ads, no subscription, and no catalogue that can be taken away. BRING YOUR COLLECTION IN • Files — your Downloads, your SD card, anything already on the device • Wi-Fi Upload — open a page on your computer and drag files straight across. Nothing goes through the internet. • Network drives — WebDAV, Nextcloud, Synology, QNAP, TrueNAS PLAYS WHAT YOU ACTUALLY HAVE Audio: MP3, M4A, AAC, ALAC, FLAC, WAV, AIFF, OGG, OPUS, WMA, APE, DSF, M4B Video: MP4, M4V, MKV, AVI, MOV, WEBM, 3GP, WMV, FLV, TS, RMVB OFFLINE LOCK Turn it on and NoBars makes zero network requests. Not fewer — zero. The badge stays on screen so you can check rather than trust. BUILT FOR A REAL LIBRARY • Your folders, exactly as you organised them • Playlists, plus a Bookshelf that gathers audiobooks and podcasts on its own • Lyrics, with a timing offset when they drift • Sleep timer that fades out over three seconds instead of cutting off • Playback speed with pitch preserved • Search across title, artist, album and filename • Trash holds deleted items for 30 days • Gapless playback and crossfade, with no fade inside an album • Loudness levelling, so a quiet rip does not vanish after a loud one • A queue you can see and reorder • Artwork from the file, or from the folder for formats that carry none MADE FOR • Flights, tunnels and anywhere with no bars — nothing buffers, because nothing streams • Collections that outgrew a phone: a NAS over WebDAV, or a drag and drop from your computer • Lossless libraries — FLAC, ALAC, WAV and DSD play at full quality • Audiobooks and podcasts that remember where you stopped, at the speed you like • Video files a phone usually refuses: MKV, AVI, WMV and the rest QUESTIONS Does it need an internet connection? No — not to play, not to browse, not to start. Does it upload my files anywhere? No. They are copied into the app and stay on the device. Will it play FLAC, and MKV? Yes, and APE, OPUS, DSF, AVI, WMV and more. Do I need an account? There isn’t one. Nothing to sign up for and nothing to cancel. FREE Everything above is included. No in-app purchases. NoBars is an offline music player and video player for files you already own: a local MP3 player, a FLAC player for lossless audio, a folder player that keeps the structure you built, an audiobook and podcast player that remembers where you stopped, and an MKV, AVI and MP4 video player. Bring music across from a computer over Wi-Fi, or connect a NAS over WebDAV — Synology, QNAP, TrueNAS, Nextcloud. No streaming account, no catalogue, and no internet connection required. Nothing leaves this device.
