Brightness Dimmer

Brightness Dimmer puts a soft dim filter over your screen so it can go darker than your phone allows. Reading in bed, checking the time at night or scrolling in a dark room stops being a glare in the face. ONE TAP FROM THE HOME SCREEN Tap the icon and a small panel appears over whatever you are doing. Set the level with the slider, switch the filter on or off, done. No screen to open, nothing to sign up for. DARKER THAN THE PHONE ALLOWS Android stops at a minimum brightness that is still bright in a dark room. Brightness Dimmer keeps going, and with Minimum brightness on it also drops the phone's own brightness to its lowest while the filter is on, then puts it back afterwards. ADVANCED DIMMING The standard filter covers your apps. Advanced dimming covers everything else too: the status bar, notifications, quick settings and the lock screen. Nothing flashes at you when a notification comes in or when you unlock the phone. WARMER LIGHT FOR LATE NIGHTS The blue light slider adds as much warm tint as you like on top of the dimming, from a faint glow to full amber. The phone's own brightness slider and auto brightness sit right underneath, so everything is adjusted in one place. Keep the screen on stops the screen from timing out while the filter is active. BRIGHTNESS DIMMER PLUS Plus adds the automation and removes the ads: - Shake to dim: a quick shake switches the filter on or off from inside any app. - Auto start and stop: pick a start and an end time once and the filter follows every evening. - App rules: choose apps that switch the filter on by themselves and apps that always stay bright, such as the camera or the clock. - Widget: a home screen bar with a power button and ten intensity steps, or a small one tap toggle. - Quick settings tile: switch the filter next to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. - No ads. Plus is available monthly, yearly or as a one time lifetime purchase. GOOD TO KNOW - The dim filter is an overlay. It does not change your display hardware and it uses very little battery. - Advanced dimming uses Android's accessibility service to draw over the system screens. The app never reads your screen content and never collects personal data. - The filter never blocks touches, and a notification lets you switch it off at any time.
