Nightpress: Diary with Lock

Nightpress is a locked, offline diary built around a short nightly ritual. Write one line about today. Pick one of six inks for how the day felt: Bright, Calm, Tender, Flat, Stormy or Heavy. Hold to press your mark into the page, and feel it land. Then something comes back. Pages from a week ago, a month ago and a year ago return to meet tonight's. Ordinary days are favoured when dates are equally close, because they're the ones we forget to treasure. Hard nights come back under a cover that you choose to lift, or never at all. MISSED NIGHTS ARE NEVER HELD AGAINST YOU There is no broken streak. Nightpress counts the nights you kept this month and the years you've kept, and lets you press the two previous nights late, in a matte ink. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account, no ads, no tracking, and no AI reading your pages. • Every page and photo is stored encrypted on your phone. • Lock it with Face ID or fingerprint, or choose a Private PIN that your phone passcode can't open. • A Recovery Card gives you a key only you hold. A BACKUP THE APP ACTUALLY CHECKS Your whole diary moves as one encrypted .nightpress archive. After saving it, Nightpress opens the saved file and checks every page before calling it safe. When due, automatic archives run while Nightpress is open, after tonight's page is pressed: weekly for free, or daily with Bindery. You choose the folder, and the same file restores on iPhone or Android. It's one purchase per store: bought on the App Store, it doesn't carry over to Google Play. If Bindery ever goes away, nothing you made is hidden or deleted.
