Full description

Welcome to OpenStream — Your Ultimate Local Media Hub! OpenStream is a powerful, lightweight media player designed to stream your personal library of movies, TV shows, anime, and live IPTV channels directly from your computer to your Android TV or mobile device. No cloud subscriptions, no external servers—just your media, on your network, on your screens. 🚀 How It Works (3 Simple Steps): 1.) Download and run the free OpenStream Server app (available for Windows, Mac, and Linux) on the computer where your media files are stored. 2.) Select your media folder and click 'Start Server'. 3.) Open the OpenStream app on your phone or TV, enter the Server IP, and start watching! ✨ Key Features: * Designed for Android TV & Mobile: Whether you are navigating with a TV remote D-Pad or swiping on your phone, OpenStream features a clean, responsive, and intuitive interface. * Broad Format Support: Powered by hardware-accelerated decoding, OpenStream smoothly plays MKV, MP4, AVI, WebM, and more. * Live IPTV Support: Drop your .m3u or .m3u8 playlists into your server's IPTV folder, and OpenStream will automatically categorize and stream your live TV channels. * Dynamic Library Organization: The app automatically reads your server's folders and organizes your content into beautiful, easy-to-navigate catalogs (Series, Movies, Personal Videos, etc.). * Picture-in-Picture (PiP): Multitask seamlessly. Press your home button while a video is playing to shrink it into a floating window. * Smart Playback: Fast-forward, rewind, and seek through videos instantly with optimized caching that prevents buffering delays. Subtitle Support: Automatically detects and loads local subtitle files (.srt, .vtt) alongside your videos. 🔒 Privacy First OpenStream operates entirely on your Local Area Network (LAN). We do not collect, track, or upload any of your personal media files. Your library stays completely private. Download the required desktop server software for free at: GitHub (Note: OpenStream is an ad-supported application to help maintain ongoing development. It does not provide or host any copyrighted media content out of the box; users must provide their own media files).
