Full description
SpectralScan is a real-time spectrum analyzer (analyser) for your phone. See sound as an RTA spectrum and spectrogram, read levels in decibels, and test the acoustics of your room and speakers. Free, no ads, with an optional one-time Pro unlock. SpectralScan shows you what sound actually looks like. Watch frequencies dance in real-time, capture accurate measurements of speakers and rooms, or just geek out watching the spectrogram waterfall paint a picture of the soundscape around you. REAL-TIME SPECTRUM ANALYZER (RTA) See audio frequencies as they happen. Dual time smoothing lines with octave smoothing show both instant peaks and averaged levels. SWEEP MEASUREMENTS Run a sine sweep through your speakers and capture the frequency response with precision. Unlike simple RTA, sweep measurements cut through ambient noise to reveal the true character of your audio gear. Save multiple curves and compare them side by side in pro version. IMPULSE RESPONSE See how your room or speakers respond over time. The impulse view shows reflections, decay, and resonances. Useful for acoustic treatment and speaker placement. SPECTROGRAM Watch sound unfold over time in a scrolling waterfall display. Great for visualizing music, speech patterns, or tracking down that annoying hum. FEATURES • dBFS (decibel) scale from -160 to 0 • Log frequency axis (20 Hz - 20 kHz) • Time and frequency smoothing • Spectrum and impulse response plots • Peak hold and peak frequency detection • Multiple color themes • Works offline • Export measurements as CSV or PNG Whether you need a frequency analyzer or frequency detector for speaker setup, an FFT view of your microphone input, or a spectrogram to detect and track down a hum, SpectralScan covers it. Built for musicians, audio engineers, acoustics nerds, HiFi enthusiasts and anyone who's ever wondered "what does that sound look like?"

What's new

Sweep response lables now movable. Bugfix for android home buttons for older devices.
