Full description
O-Track Me is an air-gapped, standalone GNSS route recording and tactical telemetry platform engineered for high-stakes outdoor expeditions, mountaineering, search and rescue (SAR) missions, and remote field operations. Built with a hardware-first philosophy, O-Track Me operates directly with device satellite receivers without requiring cellular coverage, active data connections, or third-party cloud accounts. Core Features and Capabilities: • Standalone GNSS Satellite Telemetry: Direct multi-constellation satellite interface utilizing internal hardware GNSS (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou). Collects location, ground speed, true bearing, elevation, and positional accuracy with zero cellular dependence. • Tactical Coordinate Systems (HUD): Real-time single-tap coordinate conversion across major international and defense standards: ㆍDecimal Degrees (DD) ㆍDegrees, Minutes, Seconds (DMS) ㆍUniversal Transverse Mercator (UTM) ㆍMilitary Grid Reference System (MGRS) • Tactical Waypoint and POI Callouts: Drop tactical points of interest (camps, water sources, navigational hazards, rendezvous points) during active logging. POIs render dynamic callout badges calculated through local coordinate projection without external font dependencies. • Guide Track and Visual Deviation Warnings: Load pre-recorded routes or imported reference paths (Cyan Track). The system calculates geometric perpendicular offsets in real-time, providing immediate visual off-track warning banners when path deviation exceeds safety thresholds (> 30 meters). • Integrated Mission Playback Engine: Scrub, review, and simulate logged expeditions directly on the map. Features multi-speed playback (1x, 2x, 5x, 10x) with continuous telemetry readout and speed/bearing inspection. • Binary Route Container Protocol (.xtrk): Proprietary, lightweight binary format bundling track points, telemetry metadata, and full waypoint datasets into a single file for reliable peer-to-peer sharing and team coordination. • Tactical AMOLED Canvas & Map Caching: High-contrast dark matrix display optimized for battery preservation and night operations. Panned map sections are stored directly in internal disk storage for full offline usability. • Persistent Background Logging: High-reliability foreground execution utilizing partial wake locks to maintain uninterrupted track logging through screen sleep states and long-duration battery optimizations. • Hardened Local Privacy: Zero analytics, zero telemetric telemetry tracking, and zero cloud lock-in. All mission logs remain strictly stored within local application sandboxes.
