Build By Nonogram

Build by Nonogram is a picture-logic puzzle game played in three dimensions. An ordinary nonogram is a grid with number clues along its rows and columns. This one is a cube, with clues on all three axes — and that changes the puzzle rather than simply enlarging it. You cannot finish a cube by solving it one layer at a time. Every puzzle is checked before you ever see it. If any two axes alone are enough to solve it, it is discarded and another is generated in its place. The third axis always has to earn its keep. CHOOSE HOW LONG YOU WANT TO PLAY Four sizes, offered as a choice of session length rather than a difficulty ladder: • 5³ — a couple of minutes • 10³ — a sitting • 15³ — about an hour • 20³ — a long session Larger cubes cost more energy and return proportionally more progress, so ten minutes on a bus advances you at close to the same rate as an evening on the sofa. Pick by the time you have, not by how good you are. SOLVE, ASSEMBLE, PAINT Solving chips away at a block of stone. When the last piece falls, the idea trapped inside it appears — a voxel model, which then shatters into parts for you to fit back together, and finally to paint colour by colour until it is finished. Three different kinds of thinking, one object at the end of them. 100 MODELS ACROSS TEN THEMES Animals, Artwork, Boats, Buildings, Cars, Fantasy, Food, Nature, Planes and Space. Everything you build is kept in a trophy room you can turn and look at afterwards. The Animals — Familiar pack is free and includes five models to build. Nineteen more packs are available separately, or together as a bundle. A DAILY PUZZLE One object each day, the same one for everybody, solved and assembled and painted in a single sitting. WHAT TO EXPECT Puzzles are generated rather than hand-drawn, so the supply does not run out. Solving spends energy, which refills over time — or sooner, if you choose to watch an ad. The game shows ads between puzzles, and offers optional in-app purchases for model packs. An internet connection is required.
