ORVO Cloud POS turns an Android tablet or phone into a till and a staff time clock for your ORVO POS account. The screens are built into the app, so it opens straight away and keeps working when the broadband drops. Orders and clock punches queue on the device and go up when you are back online. A shop should not stop because the internet did. WHAT IT DOES - Takes orders at the counter on a tablet or a phone - Staff clock in and out with a wallet pass or a code - Manager approvals on the spot, with offline manager codes when there is no signal - Carries on with no internet, and syncs when it comes back - A connection dot always shows whether the device is live - Keeps the screen awake, built to sit on a counter all day - Updates itself, so fixes arrive without a store update SETTING IT UP Link the device to one of your shops with the code from your owner portal at my.orvopos.com, under Shops. Once it is linked the device signs itself in, so staff never type a password at the counter. WHO IT IS FOR Cafes, coffee shops, delis, takeaways, food trucks and small restaurants already on an ORVO POS account. This app is the counter half of ORVO POS. The menu, prices, staff, stock and reports live in the owner portal at my.orvopos.com. A manager or the account owner links the device before staff can use it. There is no sign-up inside the app. WHAT YOU NEED - An ORVO POS account - A device code from the owner portal - Internet to link the device and to sync. Day to day use works offline. ORVO POS is point of sale built in Ireland for food service. The till runs on the shop's own device and the cloud keeps the copy, so the counter keeps serving whatever the broadband is doing.
