"Events Affecting You" shows what is happening around your places right now. QUIET BY DESIGN Choose Critical, High or All, set Quiet Hours, and a built-in cap keeps alerts from piling up. ONE WORLD MAP FOR EVERYTHING - Earthquakes worldwide, with magnitude and depth - Wildfires and thermal hotspots from satellite data - Cyclones, floods, volcanoes and drought - Severe weather warnings: tornado, flood, tsunami - Space weather: solar flares and geomagnetic storms - Conflict and protest events, with conflict zone outlines - Actively exploited vulnerabilities and cyber threats - Breaking world news with a link to the original source EVERY EVENT SHOWS ITS SOURCE Each event card shows the source name, when it was last updated and a button to open the original record. Most sources update every 5 to 15 minutes. We don't call this "real-time", because it isn't, and we don't show things we can't verify, like DEFCON levels.
