Visualizador gratuito ideal para senderismo, ciclismo, correr o esquiar, que utiliza como cartografía de fondo los servicios del Instituto Geográfico Nacional y otra conjunto de servicios de otros Ministerios, como por ejemplo la información Catastral de las parcelas proporcionada por la Dirección General de Catastro. Con esta aplicación podrás recorrer numerosas rutas en la sección Rutas, ocio y tiempo libre y grabar o utilizar tus tracks/rutas, planificar excursiones utilizando mapas, navegación y recorridos guiados, sin necesidad de tener conexión a internet. Todos los mapas y rutas que se utilizan son gratuitos y te permite: - Ubicación por GPS, incluso sin tener cobertura en el móvil - Modo de mapas sin conexión: guárdalos con antelación - Trazar rutas (Tracks) con GPS sobre los mapas del Instituto Geográfico Nacional. - Guardar y visualizar los tracks en formato gpx o kml y kmz. - Soporta servicios de mapas WMS y WMTS, puedes utilizar la aplicación como visor WMS - Visualización del posicionamiento mediante coordenadas, rumbo, velocidad, altitud. Cálculo de distancias - La aplicación se encuentra en español, catalán, gallego, euskera e inglés. - Basada en el software OruxMaps. Mapas de España se usa como herramienta GIS, procede de un departamento gubernamental español (https://www.ign.es/web/ign/portal) y es utilizada por profesionales de variado tipo, incluyendo a trabajadores del Estado español (policías, guardas forestales, bomberos...) Es común tener el catálogo de mapas de España en el almacenamiento interno. Por ejemplo, bases de datos, en formato mbtiles: https://centrodedescargas.cnig.es/CentroDescargas/loadMapMov.do No es posible mover toda esa información al almacenamiento privado de cada app que quiera usar esos datos (estamos hablando de decenas o centenares de gigabytes). Y desde el almacenamiento público, usando el sistema de Android de acceso a ficheros no se permite el acceso directo y aleatorio a ficheros, que es requerido por la app para acceder a bases de datos o formatos de mapas binarios. Sin ese permiso, los usuarios profesionales y los no profesionales que habitualmente usan la app como GIS no podrán seguir usando la app conforme a sus necesidades.
