Full description
Minesweeper, rebuilt for a phone. Dig a square. Each number counts the bells in the eight squares around it. Pin the bells, open everything else, and the field is done. WHAT IS DIFFERENT Built for a thumb, not ported from a desktop. Tap to dig, hold to pin, tap a number to outline what it is talking about. Fields you can solve without a guess. New fields are dealt so that logic alone can finish them. Setting up your own, you can allow guessing; a custom field packed too tightly to deal without one is dealt as an ordinary field. A daily field. Everyone gets the same field for the same date, 10 by 20 with 32 bells and a start already opened. One attempt a day, and a count of the days you have won in a row. The last fourteen days are shown under Past days, and a day you missed can be played late, though it will not add to your run. Share a finished daily as a line of text with the store link; you choose where it goes. The Survey. Thirty plots in five named stretches, from the meadow to the pit, the same for everyone and none of them needing a guess. A plot opens when the one before it is mapped. Try one again as often as you like, keep your best times, and earn a clean mark for a plot mapped with no nudge and no undo. Records and stamps. Fields mapped for each size, best times, your daily runs and your way through the Survey, with ten quiet stamps for the milestones. A home screen in four tabs. Play has New field, today's daily, the Survey and the field you are in. Fields has the rest of your fields and the finished ones. Progress has your past days, records and stamps. More has Settings, how to play and privacy. Several fields at once. Each one is kept as you left it, so you pick whichever suits the evening. A board that fills the screen. On a phone the screen stays in portrait, and with auto-rotate on the icons and the numbers turn to stay upright. On a tablet the screen turns as usual and the board stays put while the numbers stay upright. Light, dark or automatic. In Settings, Theme can follow your phone (Auto) or stay Light or Dark. Settings also has sound, vibration, how long a hold takes, a left-handed bottom bar, whether the clock shows, and whether the icons turn with the phone. Read the board back. When a field ends, open it: every bell shown, your pins marked right or wrong, and every move you made listed in order. Hints that reason like a person and make the move for you, then say what they found. Carry as many or as few as you like, and tap or swipe that line away when it is in the way. One undo, offered only when a bell rings deep into a board you nearly had. Build your own field: the grid, the crowding, the clock, the hints, the guides, the undo. Turn every dial against yourself and see what you have made. NO STRINGS No ads. No purchases. No accounts. No analytics. No internet permission at all, so it plays in airplane mode, in a basement, on a phone with no SIM. Under 3 MB. Free in a browser too, at https://davidvorlov.com/game/ Made by Orlov Digital.

What's new

3.8: a new icon, and a lot underneath. Fields are dealt to be solved without a guess; Manual can allow guessing. A daily field, the same for everyone: a run of days won, past days, Share. The Survey: 30 fixed plots in five stretches, with best times. A home screen in four tabs. Records and stamps. Settings: Theme (Auto, Light, Dark), sound, vibration, hold time, left-handed, clock. Phones stay in portrait; icons and numbers turn to stay upright. The board fills the screen.
