Full description
Cut the noise. Find your line. In today’s world, not using social apps at all is close to impossible. Each platform adds features to keep you there longer — and they compete as if that time is everything. Short-form feeds are the peak of that. One swipe brings the next, and an ending is hard to see. Do you open YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, or TikTok out of habit and start scrolling? That isn’t because your willpower is weak. It’s closer to the result of features built so you’d use them that way. So ORIZON asked: What if you could still use these apps — but stay in control of meaningless infinite scroll? ORIZON doesn’t rely on willpower alone. Useful parts — messages, search, regular videos — stay as they are. On short-form feeds, it stops you according to your settings. We’ll put the lead on the scroll back in your hands. ■ How it stops you Accessibility recognizes short-form screens in real time. It doesn’t lock you out of YouTube or Instagram as a whole. It only stops you on the infinite-scroll feed; everything else works as usual. In Smart Mode, it stops after a few swipes, then gives you a short pause so you can’t jump straight back in. You can also set a daily total per app. That time is counted on this device only and is not sent to our servers. No ads. With ORIZON, take back the lead on your scrolling. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ORIZON uses Android’s AccessibilityService to recognize short-form screens (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and similar) and help you leave them based on your settings. It does not read messages or passwords. On-screen data used for detection stays on your device. For daily totals and the per-app usage screen, ORIZON may use Usage access to see how long launcher apps were used. This stays on your device and is not sent to our servers or sold. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
