OrienteX Live

OrienteX is an app for self-paced sports orienteering training. Train whenever you want — no need to wait for organised competitions or training sessions, you are your own organiser. Load any map, place control points and head out — the app tracks your position in real time, marks visited controls, records your track and saves your results. FEATURES Your own maps Import a map image from your gallery or photograph it right in the app. A dedicated alignment mode lets you correct the perspective of a map taken at an angle. Then calibrate it against a satellite image — for precise GPS referencing. Control points and routes Place CPs on the map and set the visiting order. Two formats are supported: fixed sequence (set direction) or classic choice — where you decide which CPs to take and in what order, from all the ones placed. Real-time GPS navigation During training you see your position on the map. The compass arrow helps orient the map. The app signals each CP taken with sound and vibration. A smart Kalman filter smooths the GPS signal for a more accurate track. For beginners there is a hint showing where you are now. Works with the screen locked Track recording runs in the background — even if you lock your phone during training, you will not lose data. A persistent notification shows that the training is active. Out-of-map alert The app warns you if you accidentally step outside the calibrated map area. Results and analysis After the finish, review total time, leg splits and your GPS track overlaid on the map. Share routes Export CP placements in .oroute format and share them with your team, or import routes created by other orienteers. 20 interface languages Ukrainian, English, Swedish, Finnish, Norwegian, Czech, Danish, German, French, Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish, Italian, Hungarian, Spanish, Portuguese, Slovak, Bulgarian, Romanian. Full control Customise CP capture distance, track and marker colours, circle size, hint duration. Everything to match your style. Privacy first No account required. All maps, routes, tracks and results are stored exclusively on your device. No data is sent to our servers or third parties. You can delete your data at any time from the app menu. OrienteX is built for orienteers who want to train on their own — on training maps, in city parks, in the forest or on any familiar terrain.
