The Kraken Chippy Takeaway

Welcome to The Kraken Chippy, your home for top-quality fish and chips — now serving Cambuslang and East Kilbride! Whether you’re craving a classic chippy tea, a crispy fillet of fresh fish, or a hearty pizza to share, The Kraken Chippy brings comfort, flavour, and freshness together in every meal. Our story began in Cambuslang, where our passion for great food and local support helped us grow into one of the area’s most loved takeaways. Now, with our new branch on Stuart Street, East Kilbride, we’re proud to bring that same warmth, flavour, and community spirit to even more customers. At The Kraken Chippy, we believe simple food should be done right — with fresh ingredients, quality cooking, and a whole lot of care. Our Menu Favourites: ● Classic Fish & Chips – golden, crispy fish in our secret light batter, served with hand-cut fluffy chips. ● Tasty Pizzas – loaded with cheese and fresh toppings for the perfect slice every time. ● Chicken Fillets & More – juicy, tender, and full of flavour. ● Chippy Favourites – fritters, rolls, curry sauce, gravy, cheese, and more for the ultimate combo. We use locally sourced fish and potatoes wherever possible, ensuring every bite tastes as fresh as the seaside. Our batter is crispy and light — a “golden hug for the fish,” as our regulars like to say. Cooking can be a hassle, so why not let us handle dinner tonight?
