Pulse Defense is a luck-based merge tower defense game with a twist: your units are also poker cards. Draw random units, merge matching pairs to level them up, and line up poker hands — Pair, Straight, Full House, Five of a Kind — to supercharge an entire row. Hold your lane against endless waves while sending mobs at an AI rival in a 1v1 duel. DRAW — Spend gold to summon a random unit from five rarities: Common, Rare, Epic, Legend and Primordial (a 1% drop). 2. MERGE — Combine two units of the same rarity and level to level up, all the way to Lv.6. 3. BUILD HANDS — Each build row holds 5 units. Level is the rank, rarity is the suit. Complete a poker hand and the whole row gets stronger. 4. DEFEND — Units fire automatically as waves climb and mobs toughen. Before each boss the clock stops for an 8-second prep window to re-plan your board. 5. SEND MOBS — Spend gold to push mobs onto your rival's lane. Break their base first to win, then keep going in Survival mode to pile up score. ■ POKER HANDS — STRATEGY ONLY THIS TD HAS One row = one hand. Duplicates count once, so merging is always the smart move. • Pair, Two Pair, Three of a Kind, Full House, Four of a Kind, Straight, Straight Flush, Five of a Kind • Higher hands scale row damage up to ×9 and attack speed up to ×2 • Hands lay lane effects — spark, mud and fire zones that slow and burn every mob passing by • Four of a Kind and above unlock execution volleys with bonus boss damage Where you place each unit matters as much as what you draw. Same luck, different results. ■ LV.6 SPECIAL SKILLS & BASE STRIKE Max-level units unlock a rarity-specific ultimate: • Rail Lightning — a bolt races down the rail, zapping everything on it • Tidal Wave — a wave rolls along the path, hitting and slowing all • Map Meteor — a heavy hit on every living enemy • Push Back — a shockwave knocks every mob back to the start • Freeze Wipe — freezes the entire map, wipes it, and pays out a gold jackpot Your base fights too: it charges up and unloads a burst that chains through the front line. Upgrade it with gold for extra shots. ■ GAME MODES • BOT DUEL — Four difficulties: Easy, Normal, Hard, Extreme. Harder settings multiply your score. Plays fully offline. • DAILY CHALLENGE — A new seed every midnight; everyone gets the same draws, so it's pure skill. 3 attempts a day, difficulty rotates by weekday, Sunday is Extreme. • STREAKS — Finish a daily run to keep your streak alive, with milestones at 3, 7, 14, 30 and 100 days.
