Full description
Free, full featured, and no advertisements. Misplaced your earbuds, tracker, ring, or speaker? BlueHound turns your phone into a hot-and-cold finder for Bluetooth devices. Pick a device and walk around — BlueHound reads its Bluetooth signal and shows a live meter that fills up as you get closer, with optional vibration or sound pulses that speed up the nearer you get, so you can search without staring at the screen. FEATURES: • Paired and Nearby modes — search devices you've paired, or discover nearby ones. • Live proximity meter calibrated to each device, so even low-power gadgets like rings and tags read accurately. • "Getting closer / warmer this way" guidance using your phone's compass. • Vibrate, sound, or silent feedback — your choice. • Signal history graph and a direct-connection mode for a steadier reading. • Works with headphones, speakers, watches, fitness trackers, tags, and more. BlueHound does everything on your device. It has no ads, no accounts, and never sends your data anywhere. Note: Bluetooth signal strength is affected by walls, bodies, and interference, so use the trend ("getting warmer") to home in. A device that is powered off or out of range can't be found. Bottom line: I was frustrated by how bad the other aps out there for this were, so I made a good one. Give me feedback if its not perfect and I will make it better.
