Full description
Lay your phone flat, tilt it, and the ball rolls. That is the whole control scheme — no buttons, no virtual joystick, nothing between you and the maze. Oonnbuur is a calm tilt-maze game: 100 mazes across 10 worlds, each with its own colours, its own walls and its own music. HOW IT PLAYS Hold the phone flat and the level begins. Tilt in any direction and the ball follows, picking up speed, bouncing off walls, sliding along corridors. Steer it to the glowing goal without losing your nerve on the tight turns. The mazes start gentle and grow. Early worlds are wide and forgiving, four cells by five. By the final world you are threading a ball through a fourteen-by-sixteen labyrinth of narrow passages where a single overcorrection sends you back down a corridor you just climbed. TEN WORLDS Meadow, Cave, Ice Lake, Desert, Forest, Volcano, Ocean, Sky, Storm and Abyss — ten levels each. Every world has its own colours, its own walls, its own ball, and its own music track. THREE STARS Every level is timed and rated from one to three stars. One star for finding the way out. Three stars for finding it quickly — those times are tight and tuned per level, so the third star on a late maze is a genuine ask. Earn at least one star to unlock the next level. Your progress is saved automatically. ABOUT THE ADS Oonnbuur is free, and ads are what pay for it. They are kept out of your way: A single full-screen ad appears between levels — never during play. No banner ads. The board is never shrunk, covered or moved while you are steering. Ads wait until after your stars are awarded, on your way to the next level. They are rate-limited: at most one every few levels, and never twice in quick succession. Players who already had progress in Oonnbuur before ads were introduced keep the game ad-free, permanently. NO PURCHASES There are no in-app purchases. Nothing is locked behind money, there is no currency to buy, and no part of the game is held back. No accounts, no sign-in, no email address. WHAT IS SAVED Your progress is saved on your device: the stars you earned on each level, the level you played last, and whether you muted the sound or the music. That is a handful of numbers, it never leaves your phone, and uninstalling the app deletes all of it. The game itself plays offline — only the ads need a connection. With no network, the level simply carries on. SOUND An original chiptune soundtrack in the classic 8-bit style — a track for the menu and one for each of the ten worlds. Sound effects and music have separate toggles, so you can keep one and silence the other. REQUIREMENTS Your device needs an accelerometer, since tilting is the only way to play. Best played with the phone held flat, screen up. The screen stays awake while you play. Oonnbuur is single-player and is not directed at children under 13.
