Onto Something: Hidden Gems

Some cities are easy to live in and hard to explore. You know four places, you go to the same three, and the good stuff stays invisible. Onto Something helps you find hidden gems and things to do in your city: the cafes, bars, restaurants and quiet corners most apps never surface. Then it helps you actually go. FIND PLACES BY HOW YOU FEEL Pick a vibe: lowkey, quiet, romantic, productive, high energy or loud. Get places that match it. Filter by how much time you have, how far you want to travel and what you want to spend. No sponsored restaurants. No star ratings averaged from strangers who wanted something different from the night than you did. A REAL REASON FOR EVERY PLACE Every place comes with a short, specific reason it's worth your evening: what it's like inside, who it suits, what makes it different. Hidden gems are marked as hidden gems. If a spot is further out or harder to find, we say so plainly. PUT YOUR PEOPLE ON Found somewhere good? Send it straight to a friend with a note about why it's for them. When they go, you'll know. Every recommendation names the real person who sent it, never "someone". Start a crew for the people you actually go out with. BUILD THE HABIT OF GOING OUT Finding places is easy. Going is the hard part. Set a goal you'd hit in an ordinary week: one, two or three outings. Check in when you go and watch the weeks add up. Missing a week costs you nothing, and nobody nags you. Going away? Away Mode pauses everything. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Your check-ins are yours. Privacy settings start on the private option. You choose who sees where you've been, who can send you places, and whether you show up in search. Block, mute and report are one tap away on every profile. Export everything or delete your account from inside the app. FREE IS A REAL TIER Not a trial, and it never expires. Free includes 3 vibe searches a day, every filter, today's suggestion, hidden gems, place write-ups, 10 put-ons a month, one habit with its check-ins, your journal and your full data export. Explorer Pro adds unlimited vibe searches, crowd level and best time of day, the map, unlimited put-ons, crews, more habits at once, habit stacks and more than one buddy. Premium adds Trips, your year as a book made from what you actually did, and crew patterns. Prices are shown in full before you pay. Cancel from Google Play; we don't hide it behind a support chat.
