Somewhere under the canyon sand, old things are waiting: a clay pot, a bronze key, a toy horse, a bamboo flute. Each one remembers a moment from the people who owned it. Brush them out of the soil, and their stories come back to life. Dig Tales is a relaxing logic puzzle game and a gentle brain game about digging carefully, like a young archaeologist on a quiet dig. You see the shapes of the buried relics before you start. Brush a tile of soil: if it is empty, it shows how many relic pieces touch it. Read those numbers, work out where every relic lies, and uncover them all before your brush strokes run out. How to play • Brush a tile to clear its soil. Empty tiles show a number clue. • The number counts the relic pieces in the 8 tiles around it. • Use the clues to find every relic piece. • Finish within the stroke limit to earn up to 3 stars. • Every level can be solved by logic alone. You never have to guess. Every relic wakes a memory When a relic is complete, it wakes a short memory scene, drawn like shadow puppets at dusk. The canyon's music adds an instrument each time more relics wake: santoor, bansuri and tabla. Things to discover • 40 handmade levels in two chapters, the Sunbaked Canyon and the Monsoon Ruins, from small 4×4 digs to 8×8 sites with hard rock that takes 2 strokes. • In the Monsoon Ruins the river rises as you dig: tiles under water cost an extra stroke, so dig the low tiles first. Open old stone channels and the water rushes down a line of tiles and uncovers them for you. • Win each level of the Monsoon Ruins to bring back one line of the boatman's song. • The pick digs 5 tiles in a + shape at once, but fragile relics like clay pots crack under it. Choose your tool. • The museum: give every memory its place on the story wall and bring the Home, Market and Rain Veranda rooms back to life. • Rook and Raya, two rival diggers, set a stroke target on many levels. Can you beat them? • Finish at par with no hints and the relic shines gold in the museum. • Night of Lamps: a festival dig of 7 levels that gives Pip a lantern look. Every day • Daily Dig: one fresh puzzle each day, the same for everyone. • Daily gift: coins for 7 days in a row. Missing a day never resets your progress. • Challenge a friend: make a short code, your friend types it in and plays the same dig. No names or accounts. Play your way • Story mode: more strokes and 3 hints per level. Good for first-time players. • Classic mode: balanced, with 1 hint per level, then hints for coins. • Expert mode: fewer strokes and no help. • Make your own explorer: skin tone, hair, hats and outfits, plus looks for Pip the kite-bird and your brush. • Hindi, English, Spanish, Portuguese and Indonesian. • Large text, reduce motion, and separate music, sound and vibration settings. • An offline puzzle game: play on the bus, on a flight or anywhere without internet.
