One Million Cat Project

One Million Cat Project is a community-powered map of cats around the world. Spot a cat. Share the sighting. Watch the global map grow. The goal is simple: document one million cat sightings and create a living, worldwide snapshot of the cats we encounter every day. FEATURES • Explore a global map of cat sightings Discover cats reported by people around the world. • Report a cat Found a cat? Add a sighting to the map with its location, date, and an optional photo. • Explore the Cat Map Move around the world and discover where cats have been spotted. • Filter sightings Browse sightings by country, city, and date. • Community-driven Every approved sighting contributes to the shared goal of one million cats. • Privacy-conscious locations Public sightings use approximate locations rather than exposing exact coordinates. • No account required You can explore the map and contribute sightings without creating a traditional account. ONE MILLION CATS This is more than a map. It is a growing record of the cats people encounter across cities, neighborhoods, and countries. Every sighting is one step closer to 1,000,000. How many cats can we find? Join the project and help us find them all.
