Full description
Scan a product barcode or photograph a restaurant menu in any language: Lanatag tells you what fits your allergies, your diet and your pregnancy. Halal, 15 allergens, vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, mum-to-be, spice and calories: your whole profile in one app. AT THE SUPERMARKET — BARCODES AND LABELS Scan a barcode, or pick a photo that shows one: Lanatag checks every ingredient against your profile and shows the Nutri-Score. Unknown product? Photograph its ingredient list and it is read directly. Tap an additive (E471, E120…) to open its sheet: official name, function, origin, and what it means for your diet. AT THE RESTAURANT — MENU PHOTO Photograph the menu, even in Chinese, Thai or Russian. Lanatag translates every dish and sorts it: For you, Caution or Skip. When the menu doesn't say what you need to know, the dish goes to Caution, never to "safe". Long menu? Add a page: the new dishes join the list and your selection stays. FIFTEEN ALLERGENS Peanut · Gluten · Crustaceans · Molluscs · Fish · Milk · Egg · Soy · Tree nuts · Celery · Mustard · Sesame · Sulphites · Lupin · Buckwheat. Every allergen is shown on the dish itself, without a tap. FOUR DIETS Halal · Vegetarian · Vegan · Pescatarian. Dishes that don't fit your diet are flagged with the reason. For halal, Lanatag separates composition (pork, alcohol) from slaughter: two questions, not one. MUM-TO-BE Raw-milk cheese, undercooked meat, raw fish, cold cuts: each dish concerned carries the guidance of public-health authorities (NHS, FDA, CDC…), always keeping the strictest rule. Works together with halal and your allergies. Your doctor or midwife remains your reference. SPICE AND CALORIES Set your spice tolerance. Set a calorie cap per meal: each dish shows a range, never a judgement. THE SERVER CARD Build your order, then show the card to the server: your dishes in the menu's language, large, with quantities. Your needs written in their language — "Halal: no pork, no alcohol", "Allergy: celery" — with the English translation below. Sixteen card languages with fixed phrases, never generated; for other languages, the card is translated during the reading. IN YOUR LANGUAGE The app is available in 17 languages, including Arabic, Chinese, Japanese and Turkish. NO ACCOUNT No sign-up, no email. Your profile and history stay on your phone; a reading sends only the photo and your profile, after your consent. Readings are not available in some countries, including mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Russia. WHAT LANATAG IS NOT Lanatag is a reading aid, not medical advice. A reading can be incomplete or wrong: with a severe allergy or intolerance, always confirm with the restaurant. Lanatag does not replace a label or a health professional's advice, and is not a medical device. PRICING Three free readings, no account and no card. Then a yearly or weekly auto-renewable subscription, which you can cancel at any time in Google Play. Terms of Use: https://lanatag.com/terms/ Privacy: https://lanatag.com/privacy/
