Akari - Guardian of Balance is an isometric action adventure game inspired by Japanese yokai folklore. Guide a little fox through a corrupted forest, use magic to purify yokai, and dodge attacks as you restore balance to the forest. A FOX WITH THE POWER TO HEAL Join Akari, a brave fox whose magic trail brings the forest back to life. Circle trees, plants, and yokai to free them from corruption. Every loop your fox completes heals another part of the forest. DRAW A CIRCLE, PURIFY THE FOREST Your path is your power. Close a circle with your magic trail to purify everything inside. Choose your route, dodge danger, and guide your fox around each challenge. DODGE AND PURIFY Dodge the Oni's strikes and the Hebi's venom while you find a path around them. Time your movements, dodge incoming attacks, and use your magic to free the yokai of the forest. A FOREST OF YOKAI Meet yokai from Japanese folklore. Kitsune create illusions to confuse you, while Kegare spread corruption to trees and to yokai you have already healed. Help your fox see through the tricks and protect the forest. BEAT YOUR BEST TIME Learn your magic in the early levels, then face new yokai and new challenges.
