Full description
HeadzUp Offroad alerts you when other vehicles are near you on the trail. Pair the app with a HeadzUp Rider Unit — a small LoRa radio that rides with you — and your phone joins the park's rider mesh. Every HeadzUp rider on the mesh shares position, heading and speed over the radio, so the app can warn you when a vehicle is closing in: sound, flash and vibration, even with the screen off and no cell signal. WHAT YOU GET • Live radar — see riders around you, their distance and direction, without a cellular connection. • Vehicle proximity alarm — an alert you can hear over the engine and feel in your pocket, with a minimum distance you control. • Known riders — save the riders in your group so they don't trigger your alarm until you remove them. • Ride-start check — one screen to pick your park, confirm permissions and pair your Rider Unit. Green means go: show it at the gate. • Park office messaging — reach park staff, send an SOS, or broadcast to every rider in the park. • Friends — add riders by username or friend code and see when they are nearby. • Voice — alerts read aloud, and hands-free dictation for messages. • Park Mode — operators see riders live, manage ride windows and map trails from the same app. HOW IT WORKS Your phone talks to the Rider Unit over Bluetooth. Rider Units talk to each other over LoRa radio in a park-wide mesh. The radio link is what keeps awareness working deep in the park where phones have no signal. When you do have a connection, the park's dashboard shows riders live so staff can respond faster. BEFORE YOU RIDE HeadzUp requires a HeadzUp Rider Unit and a participating park. It is currently available to riders at pilot parks through invitation — your park staff will give you a login. HeadzUp is an awareness tool. It is not a safety system and does not guarantee accident prevention. Always ride carefully, follow park rules and trail etiquette, and stay within your limits. What's new

0.0.74 • A meet-up point placed by the park now alerts every rider: SOS tone, notification, red park banner, read aloud if voice is on. • Messages: your riding group's members are listed again, so you can message them. • iPhone: the screen no longer reloads mid-ride (WebKit memory fix); screens stay in place after any reload. • STOP stays above the vehicle list in Map view when the red alerts card shows. "1 vehicle". Pairing overlay readable in Light.
