The rune beneath your feet defines your attack, turning each step into a choice between position, power, and survival. READ THE PAGE Enemy attacks are clearly telegraphed before they land. Study overlapping danger patterns, find a safe response, and turn the floor against 16 distinct enemy types. Because each page is deterministic, success comes from reading the board rather than reacting to hidden surprises. BUILD THE FLOOR Collect stars to recover health and unfold the page from a tight 4x4 arena into a sprawling 7x7 battlefield. Each star opens the Forge without ending the run. Imprint a new rune, upgrade the floor, choose a final mastery, reroll your options, or keep moving while enemies close in. Discover 24 runes, each with two upgrade ranks and a choice between two final masteries. Lunge from a Dagger, pierce a lane with an Arbalest, leap between targets with a Chain, or write hazards with a Censer. Shape a different tactical engine on every page. EXPAND THE ARCHIVE Every collected star also becomes persistent Ink. Between runs, spend it on permanent inscriptions, unlock 13 optional weapons, equip armor and relics, and choose supplies for the next attempt. Your Archive is stored locally and remains useful whether a page ends in victory or defeat. COMPLETE THE PAGE Reach 25 stars to win, then climb through five increasingly dangerous Volumes. Higher Volumes introduce threats earlier and reward greater risks. Deterministic daily pages and branching builds make every decision worth revisiting.
