Learn with Chip

Learn with Chip is a learning app designed from scratch for children with learning difficulties. It isn't an educational app with accessibility settings bolted on: every design decision starts from how a child who struggles learns. NO MISTAKES, NO PUNISHMENT The child never sees a failure. When they get something wrong, the app gives them the help they needed instead of marking it in red. There are no timers, no error sounds, no "you lost" screens. Difficulty rises on its own once they master something, and drops quietly when they're struggling. ONE DECISION PER SCREEN Big buttons, fixed positions that never move, one task at a time. The instruction stays on screen while the child works, with a button to hear it again as many times as they need. VISUAL CHANNEL FIRST Everything that matters is seen, not just heard. Voice and a picture symbol on everything, a fixed colour per subject, and a Calm mode that reduces on-screen movement. WITH YOUR VOICE AND THEIR PHOTOS You can record your own instructions so it's your voice that speaks to them, and add photos of their things, their home and their people to work with the vocabulary that actually matters to them. Personalisation is free and always will be. A WHOLE WORLD FREE You can really try it before paying: one complete world, nothing cut out. The fit is very individual, and you need to be able to see whether it clicks before spending anything. FOR THE ADULT Behind a door with a maths problem, an area where you can see what your child finds hard by letter, number or colour; a reinforcement plan for today; a report you can show their therapist; and one concrete tip for taking what they already know into the real world. NO INTERNET, NO THIRD-PARTY ADS, NO DATA The app works entirely offline. There are no third-party ads, no analytics, no accounts and no data collected. Recordings and photos never leave the tablet. The only thing you'll see is a notice about the other Chip Adventure apps, in the adult area. Learn with Chip came out of a real need: a father who couldn't find an app that worked for his son. It's still being built to that same standard.
