Obscura Vault

Obscura Vault is a sealed space for what you want kept private. Everything in your vault is encrypted, there is no account to create, and there is no server of ours on the other end. Your vault only leaves your device as encrypted files. Nothing comes out readable unless you take it out yourself. What makes it different • Captures stay out of your gallery. Photos and videos from the in-app camera go into the vault, not your gallery. Voice memos are recorded into the vault, not your audio library. • Move photos and videos out of your gallery. What you import is encrypted into the vault first, with the option to remove the original from your gallery. • No account, no servers of ours, and no internet access. • Your 12-word recovery phrase is the only thing that opens your vault on another device. We never see it, so nobody can reset it for you, including us. • Backups stay encrypted wherever you keep them: a cloud drive, another app, anywhere you can save a file. Restore one on a new device with your recovery phrase. • Capture without unlocking. What you capture from the app icon is sealed straight away, without opening anything already inside. • No analytics, no ads, no tracking. If your device's own backup includes the vault, it carries those encrypted files, not their contents. A PIN and biometrics are yours to use or not: they guard the app on this device, while your recovery phrase is what the encryption rests on. With a PIN, you can also have the vault erase itself after 10 wrong attempts. That setting is off until you turn it on. Keep your recovery phrase somewhere safe. We cannot recover it for you, because we never had it. Available in English and Spanish.
