LIVE GPS TRACKING When a technician starts an active transport, Obitix can share GPS so funeral home staff and the family can see the vehicle on a live map. Background location is used only during an active transport. Technicians are often driving with the phone locked or in another app, so tracking must continue until pickup or delivery is complete. Location is not used for advertising, marketing, or unrelated tracking. When the transport ends, live sharing stops. CHAIN OF CUSTODY Every handoff can be recorded with time, place, and the person responsible.
