WillowSpine is a small offline manual for anyone who owns a fishing rod and would like the thing to outlast them. It also happens to tell you where the rod came from in the first place. Split-cane fly, tenkara, modern carbon fly, spinning, bait-casting multiplier, village cane pole — one card each, with the maker, the water and the reel that goes with it. 3. Care & storage. Six routines by cadence: rinse after every trip, wax the ferrules every three or four, inspect guides monthly, loosen ferrules in the off-season, check the wraps twice a year, store the whole thing flat in its tube. 4.
